Sailing trip for bachelors 07.-09.05.2021

On Friday evenings you are welcome on the Ortolan from 8 pm. First of all you  move into your cabin and discover the ship. When all fellow sailors have arrived, we invite you to a delicious buffet and a get-to-know-you session. Roman will introduce you to the ship and together we will put together groups, so that we can all actively participate in the life on board, because community is written BIG on board. So that it is always sociable on and below deck and so that we can get to know each other, we will cook together in large and small groups, do the dishes and of course sail. We end the evening with a cozy round and typical Dutch Borrelhappjes. Saturday we go after breakfast out on deck, there Rocki explains you how to hoist the sails and how to drive different maneuvers, so we can sail to our destination of the day. Where we go is up to you. We have the choice between picturesque harbor towns such as Enkhuizen, Medemblik or Urk, which invite you with a lot of ambience to stroll and in which numerous cafes are consolidated in the evening to let the evening end convivially. Or we go out into nature, look for a beautiful jetty on one of the small Frisian islands or in the pasture land of the Frisian seas and make a campfire in the evening, look at stars and enjoy the silence. The decision is entirely up to you. While sailing you have plenty of time to relax: put your cell phone aside, engage in conversation or pick up a book and let your mind wander. Lunch will be taken during the trip and in the harbor a 2 course meal will be prepared but also in between you will be spoiled with coffee and tea, with treats like cakes, cookies or fruit. Sunday we sail back to our home port Stavoren where we will arrive around afternoon. You will be on your way home with new energy and probably new friends.
